My Life- Final Project

The type of music i used was classical rock, I used the song "Hotel California" by The Eagles. Because i wanted a slow moving song, to keep the mood of the movie calm. I found my info on the internet using sites that wouldn't go wrong. I found my pictures from my grandfather's computer and any picture i did not find there I would find at my house and I would scan the pictures onto my desktop and send them to my Macbook. I found the songs on my iTunes. -Prices of (bread, milk, etc.) in 1995.-Different fashion trends in 1995. I used Safari most of the time. I found a couple of useless ones. I used a scanner to scan my pictures, I used flashdrives, and i also used a Mac, Macbook, and Acer, I used iMovie, and PowerPoint. I am good at using iMovie and transfering files. Collecting up all of my pictures and transfering them to my computer. I really didn't struggle with a whole lot on this project except planning when to get it finished, nothing ws too difficult. Yes, i did because I find that still slides are better, not easier but better to work with when dealing with an imformative movie. Yes, it was about me and my family. Why, because the project was about my life and the only reason why I am here is because of my family. I didn't use a video because I don't have any movies of my family except the ones that are on VHS tapes. When making a PowerPoint for a speech, or giving info to your class. Well to start off, there is citing and then when it comes to music, well I bought the music. I didn't use the whole song. If it was on my own then probably only if I thought it was a good idea for the moment but probably not.

Music Genome

I liked this project a lot. Music is one of my most favorite subjects to talk about. I like using PowerPoint and I like using iMovie. My project was over Punk. I chose to do the project on Punk music because it is a fairly easy genre of music to talk about. There are a lot of good bands out there, that are in that genre. Since  I already know a lot about PowerPoint and iMovie, this project was pretty easy. I did learn however how to  transfer something from PowerPoint onto iMovie. I think that this project was a good idea.

iMovie Project

My iMovie project was over the movie "Iron Man". I chose that movie because it was my most favorite movie. I liked using iMovie because I think that it is one of the best applications on the Mac. It was really easy to use. The project was fun to make. It didn't take that long to make, once I knew what I was doing. I think that the project went well, I think that it was a good idea that we did this project. I already know most of the stuff on iMovie, but I think that it can teach other people that don't know alot about iMovie, about iMovie.

Garageband movie project

I learned a lot from this. I have used garageband in the past and I have made songs on there already so I know the basics on garageband. I never knew that we could use it to make podcasts. I like making this and garageband made it much easier so I hope that in the future we make more movies like this. This is one of the first times that I have ever made a podcast so it was a good experience for me. The only problem that I had was that editing was a little off but all together garageband made the podcast easier to make.

Storyboard Project

The group project I think was an alright project. I had good group members. I gave them both full credit because they both helped greatly in the composure of the project. The project was fairly easy because I have done power points in the past so I already know about those but it did teach me about google docs. I never even knew that google docs existed. It makes working as a group on a power point easier and allows every member to change things around on their own computers. I hope that we do projects like this in the future because I like working on power points and google docs makes it easier.

IPhoto Name Project

I enjoyed this project because I like how it turned out. I liked making a project about my name. I think that this will turn out good. The project was on IPhoto but for the finishing project I used IMovie. I still enjoyed making this project. I found that it was rather hard to find appropriate pictures for the project. It probably took me longer then it should have to make the whole thing. Overall I think that it was a good project. The subject of my project was military engineering.  I hope that we have more projects in the future that deal with IPhoto.

2. What skills did you use/learn in this project?
A. I learned the correct way to use the MailMerge and how to take a screen shot.


3. What was the easiest part of this project? What was the most difficult part of this project?
A.The easiest part of this project was taking the screen shot (learning to use). The hardest is most definitely using the MailMerge.


4. Describe how you might use these skills and apply them to a real-world situation other than writing a charity letter.
A. If I ever have to use excel in a future career and I am making a presentation and I have to merge with excel.


5. Did you learn something new during this project that you did not know before?  If so, what?
A. Yes, I learned how to use the MailMerge.
